The Ourika Valley is home to rich biodiversity, featuring a variety of Mediterranean and alpine plants such as olive trees, fig trees, cypress trees, and junipers. The local wildlife includes migratory birds, lizards, squirrels, and occasionally wild sheep in the higher mountainous areas. The valley’s rivers and waterfalls also provide important habitats for wild trout.
